You are the face in the restaurant that guests order the food and wine, refer to for any queries, talk to, receive their meal and beverages from, liaise with, have the table cleared by, and hopefull thank for the experience.  The "thanking" is up to you and how you present yourself to the guests you are responsible for.  You will be expected to fulfil your responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner, being polite at all times, and find it easy to converse with guests, and above all, enjoy the work.  Whilst experience is preferred in a resort style environment, experience in a recognised insitution would be considered.
