Whilst your interface with your bar team and guests is the key part of this role, you will also need to attend to the "back of house" functions to make sure everything functions smoothly and efficiently. Things such as rostering, cashing up, and "balancing the books" will be your daily ritual.  You'll be responsible for the training and development of all bar staff and very importantly, make sure all policies and procedures are adhered to in line with both the resort standards and within the laws of the country.  You will need to have had experience running a bar in either a reputable hotel or resort, or within a large establishment with numbers of staff reporting.
