The departing Executive Chef in this popular resort has set new standards of food and food service and is departing for a new challenge.

 

The resort group comprises three 4 and 5 star resorts in two separate locations.  This is a very popular location with a strong local infrastructure where you can enjoy local activities during your leisure time.  There is great opportunity to be able to not only showcase your culinary skills, but also to exert your team management skills to produce the Pacific's finest food experience.

 

As an experienced Executive Chef, you will be expected to be able to maximise "cuisine resources" and at the same time produce great results.  You will have varied experience in the most popular cuisines, and have experience in managing multiple kitchen environments. You will need to have an excellent understanding of the different international cuisines to be able to cater for the multi-national guests. 

 

It goes without saying that you will take pride in your work, be able to lead your team harmoniously in a multi-cultural environment, and ensure that all food served to guests is a memorable experience.  This environemnt suits a working Executive Chef who leads from the front and isn't simply a "director".

 

You will need to have a good command of English and have excellent communication skills.
