Working under a Chef de Partie, you will be there to learn all there is to learn about the particular area you will be working in.  You will have to take explicit direction from the CdP and follow directions to the letter.  Naturally you will have a passion to learn about food and food preparation and see this as your first step into this fascinating area of hospitality.  Learn and do it right and you can write your ticket to anywhere you wish.
