    The resort group comprises four separate resorts in two distinct locations, plus other business interests of the owners.
     
    As Financial Controller of the resort group, you will be responsible for overviewing all the day-to-day accounting and related systems functions, and you will also lead any project work as the resort group undergoes change.  As the "right-hand person" to the Managing Director, you will be a crucial part of the management team driving this essential part of the business operations forward. 
     
    You will have a natural flair for managing and coaching accounting staff, and be the proactive type who ensures that your team is engaged in achieving the required outcomes - accurate and timely reporting.  A very strong personality, an absolute commitment to "ethical accounting", and an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment is essential. 
     
    You must have accounting qualifications recognised in either New Zealand or Australia and possess very good communication skills with English as your first language, or certainly a fluent language.  Both of these criteria are mandatory, so please do not apply if this is not the case.
     
    It would be preferably if you had some experience in the hotel or resort industry and had experience with the unique systems this industry operates. At the very least you will need to have had strong commercial experience in a diverse industry where customers are paramount.
     
    Remuneration is by way of a generous salary, assistance with relocation costs after a qualifying period, contract completion bonus, and local benefits.
