This is a role where you could be set up for life!  Or certainly head in that direction.  Whilst this idyllic location will be of appeal, there is a job attached - and one that requires a commitment to work hard and help achieve financial performance and meet deadlines.

As one of the Accountants within the resort group, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and related systems functions of a specific area of the resort group, and you will also undertake project work as the resort undergoes change.

You will be part of a small team, so you will have to be the proactive type who ensures that you achieve the required outcomes - accurate and timely reporting.  An absolute commitment to "ethical accounting", and an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment is essential.

You must have accounting qualifications recognised in either New Zealand or Australia, or be studying towards this ultimate goal.  You must also possess very good communication skills with English as a fluent language.

If you've had some experience in the hotel or resort industry, then that would be great. At the very least you will need to have had strong commercial experience in a diverse industry where customers are paramount.

Remuneration is by way of a generous salary, assistance with relocation costs after a qualifying period, contract completion bonus, and local benefits.

As part of the process, you will be required to undergo a comprehensive medical and police check, so if there are any issues in either of these areas, please declare them in the questionnaire you will be sent to complete.

To apply for this role, please hit "apply" and follow the complete registration process on www.tropicalresortjobs.com.  No application can be considered unless the full process is completed, including the set of questions which will be sent to you on completion of your initial application.

NB:  IF YOU DO NOT FULFIL THE CRITERIA AS INDICATED IN THIS ADVERTISEMENT, PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.
