Your overall goal is to actively contribute to the profitability and growth of the resort and associated entities and be responsible for the effective procurement of goods and the ability to rationalise suppliers to improve service levels and profitability. You will need to build long term mutually rewarding relationships and continuously identify new products and sources of supply to maximise leverage. In addition, you will develop procurement strategies and negotiate the best available terms and conditions including pricing, discounts and payment terms for the acquisition of products through approved suppliers.
A self starter, you will be a proven leader, with the natural ability to drive procurement gains and to develop and meet annual cost reduction targets. Working closely with the management team, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the strategic direction and requirements to deliver a first class resort service.
You may have a tertiary qualification in procurement or a related discipline combined with proven experience in a service environment. This will be complemented by your sharp analytical skills, financial reporting, cost control and budgeting expertise. Combine this with your comprehensive commercial abilities, leadership and team skills.
