The role of HR Manager in a resort is extremely important as people make the resort. You can have the best location, the most wionderful surroundings, and the most luxurious accommodation, but if the service is well below standard, then the guest experience will be remembered for that. People are the essential ingredient.
As well as the standard HR functions, including recruitment at all levels, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and development function within the resort to ensure the highest standards are achieved in the delivery of guest satisfaction. You will also manage Career Expos and maintain relationships with international tourism and hospitality institutes. You will require experience as an HR Manager and have at a minimum a Diploma in HR.
