Key responsibilities will be to plan and carry our preventative maintenance throughout the Resort to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort. You will prioritise and carry out maintenance as requests by Departments on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of all Resort Departments. You will liaise with the Managing Director regarding options to improve energy management and conservation and be responsible for the testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting etc. on a routine basis as required by the Resort. You will monitor the use of contractors within the Resort, controlling expenditure and ensuring work is to the standard required by the Resort and manufacturers' specifications.  Experience in looking after a similar type of operation or a multi-faceted group of buildings, such as an educational, eldercare, or hospital complex, would be desirable.
