This role supports the Head Carpenter ensuring that quality work is delivered to a high standard in keeping with this international resort.  Good hands on carpentery skills reinforced with strong supervisory skills are essential to keep this function ticking along.  You will be responsible to ensure the carrying out of programmed work, including fit out, renewal (as time progresses) and renovation.  It is essential to manage the work schedule to ensure urgent maintenance work and repairs are carried out by staff.  Relevant carpentry qualification is preferred.  Previous experience in a building services contract environment could be of benefit.

Because of the physical nature of this type of work you will need to be physically fit and will be required to pass a medical check, and you must be able to work in a tropical climate where the temperatures are relatively high.
