To be successful you will have a solid Project Management background within the commercial building industry. You will have proven ability and commitment to establish and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will have excellent communication and social skills, personal drive, management, leadership, and problem solving abilities.
Key performance indicators will revolve around achieving the highest levels of satisfaction by ensuring the projects meet commitments to time, quality, budget and safety, while maintaining close working relationships with resort management, sub-contractors and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
· Delivering each project from preconstruction through to defect liability period
· Delivering each project to the highest standard of satisfaction and quality
· Provide team leadership to your project team
· Attending tender interviews
· Letting of all trades and services contracts; including subcontractor negotiation to obtain best price
· Closely control project expenditure and assurance that purchase orders/invoices are approved within the limit of authority
· Manage and coach Project Coordinators & Site Managers
· Tender letting and evaluation
· Processing variations and progress claims
· Cost control
· Sub contractor management
· General project administration
Ideally, the successful candidate will be degree qualified with several years experience on large multiple building sites. You will be required to undergo a comprehensive medical check and police check.
